LJ Twisted Shorts Fic-A-Day - Complete for another year

 For those who still wander over to Live Journal (for whatever reason - Stockholm Syndrome, nostalgia, etc), the annual "Twisted Shorts Fic-A-Day" is now complete, with over 200 short fics posted there during the month by 10 different authors (some regular participants, and a few newbees)

Which also includes some discussion of the future of the challenge - stay on LJ? Move elsewhere? There is a Twisted Shorts community here on Dreamwidth but the challenge managers aren't using it yet.

Fic Update

My main fic writing effort has been a long running series of stories for NaNoWriMo that I started in 2012 and started posting to AO3 in August 2013 - A Glee centric Space Opera - The Yucatan Job- written in 50K increments every November, and polished and posted the following year. Right now I'm finishing posting the 6th full story in the series (written in 2016) and this November I'll possibly write the 8th and final( maybe) story then post the story I wrote in 2018.

In the mean-time I've been working on some shorter things just for fun. Mostly not posted anywhere as of yet.

But I've been reading a lot of Harry Potter stories over the past six months and was inspired to start a new story.

Not thrilled with the title so that may change but here it is:

The Curse of the Protector

Basically, it's a "Female Harry Potter, raised by a Death Eater" story. Kind of. Sort of. There may be soul mate shenanigans eventually, and if I can get it to work some Bellamione (though I'm doubtful I can), and a crossover - of course. See the story tags for more.
